Job summary

Interactive Multi-Purpose Cooperative is seeking an experienced Housekeeping Coordinator in Makati City, Metro Manila. This full-time role oversees daily housekeeping operations, ensures cleanliness across facilities and coordinates with maintenance and front desk to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Ideal candidates will have 3–5 years in housekeeping supervisory roles within hospitality, strong leadership, organizational and time-management skills.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of housekeeping operations or supervisory experience in hospitality.
• Strong knowledge of housekeeping standards and guest services in hospitality.
• Excellent organisational and time-management abilities with multitasking.
• Proven leadership to supervise, motivate and train teams effectively.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping operations across all designated areas to ensure adherence to quality standards and schedules.
• Assign tasks to housekeeping staff and monitor progress to guarantee timely completion of cleaning duties.
• Inspect rooms, common areas and facilities to verify cleanliness standards and address any deficiencies.
• Maintain inventory records of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as needed to prevent shortages.
• Train housekeeping staff on cleaning techniques, safety protocols and company policies.
• Handle guest complaints and concerns related to room cleanliness and maintenance with professionalism and promptness.
• Prepare and submit daily, weekly and monthly reports on housekeeping activities and performance metrics.
• Coordinate with maintenance, front desk and management to address urgent issues.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations throughout housekeeping operations.
• Develop and implement systems to optimise efficiency and reduce operational costs within the department.
