Job summary

Shangri-La Mactan, Cebu is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to lead the daily housekeeping operation, coordinate the team, and maintain service quality across guest rooms, bathrooms and corridors.

The role requires fluent English (and local language), strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills, pride in being a hotelier, and a guest-oriented approach to ensure consistently high standards of hospitality.

• Fluent English and local language proficiency are required.
• Strong understanding of room operations and guest services.

Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth daily running of the housekeeping operation
• Support the Service Manager in maintaining service quality
• Supervise the team performance and process flow
• Maintain and clean guest rooms and replenish room supplies
• Maintain and clean bathrooms and replenish bathroom amenities
• Tidy and arrange guest belongings when cleaning the room
• Ensure quality assurance standards are met at all times
• Maintain and clean hotel corridors
• Report any maintenance-related issues to the Engineering Department
• Interact and assist guests professionally when needed
