Job summary

Eaton Corporation is seeking an Hourly Phone Screening Associate in Tanauan City, Batangas to support North America hourly recruiters. The role focuses on phone screening candidates, reviewing resumes, and building a candidate pipeline.

You will collaborate with recruiters, post requisitions in SAP, and coordinate interview scheduling for on-site or offsite assessments. Strong English, multitasking, and 2–3 years in volume hiring or BPO recruitment are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• Willing to work night shift (9 PM–6 AM) Monday–Friday.
• Willing to work in Tanauan, Batangas (First Philippine Industrial Park).

Responsibilities

• Phone screen candidates using the standard questionnaire and log results in the recruiting system.
• Disposition candidates who do/don't meet basic requirements per US Recruiting Compliance.
• Recommend top candidates and schedule interviews or refer to recruiters for next steps.
• Coordinate with recruiters to adjust prioritization and qualifications as needed.
• Assist in posting requisitions to SAP and ensure accuracy of postings.
• Support hiring events and call candidates for onsite or offsite interview slots.
• Source candidates via external networks (Monster, LinkedIn, etc.).
• Manage candidate leads to maintain a steady flow of applications.

Job Description - Hourly Phone Screening Associate

What you'll do:

This position will act as a liaison to the hourly production recruiters in North America. Provides recruiting support by phone screening candidates, reviewing and dispositioning resumes against basic qualifications, and sourcing to build a further pipeline of skilled candidates for the North America Hourly Recruiters.

Your essential responsibilities:

• Identifies candidates within open requisitions folder to be phone screened and disposition those who do not meet basic requirements and in adherence with the US Recruiting Compliance
• Conducts phone screening with candidates using standard questionnaire template and ensure the template is correctly loaded into recruiting system (EightFold)
• Recommends top candidates and schedule to interview day (if determined) or recommend further to the recruiter/hiring team review
• Liaises with recruiters on a weekly basis or as needed to shift and adjust recruiting priorities by requisition or make amendments on the qualifications or pay strategy if needed
• Assists with formatting and posting newly approved requisitions to in SAP system, ensuring that quality guidelines around accuracy and procedure are met
• Assists in Hiring Events and actively call candidates to fill onsite or offsite interview slots
• Partners with recruiters to be an outlet for sourcing and researching candidates as potential leads through external resources, i.e. Monster, Jibe, LinkedIn, etc.
• Manage Leads candidates to compensate the lean flow of application or unqualified pool

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution
• Must be willing to work in night shift (9 PM - 6 AM) Monday - Friday
• Must be willing to work in Tanauan, Batangas (First Philippine Industrial Park)

Position Criteria:

• Ability to utilize a variety of technology platforms to conduct daily work (Applicant Tracking System, external recruitment boards and CRMs, and MS Suite)
• Proven ability to maintain a high degree of professionalism, flexibility, high quality customer service, effective verbal and written communications skills and teamwork to accommodate the high volume, fast-paced work environment
• Excellent organizational and time management skills are essential
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong ability to multitask
• Stakeholder Management skills
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in volume hire or relevant BPO/Offshore recruitment experience
• Above-average English communication skills (both written and verbal)
• Ability to work in an Agile Work Environment
