Job summary

Wing Assistant is hiring a Healthcare Virtual Assistant (USRN) to support patients remotely. The role requires an RN license and at least 1 year as a Medical Virtual Assistant, with strong English communication and knowledge of EMR/EHR systems.

You will handle test result communications, referrals, and scheduling while ensuring HIPAA compliance and data privacy. US work hours, 100% remote from the Philippines.

Qualifications

• RN license (USRN in any state) is required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Medical Virtual Assistant.
• Experience in patient care in clinical settings preferred.
• Excellent English communication skills (C1).
• Solid understanding of medical terminology and privacy regulations.
• Proficient with EHR/EMR and able to troubleshoot common issues.
• Able to work night/graveyard shifts.

Responsibilities

• Call patients to relay test results promptly and professionally.

• Order labs/imaging and schedule patient appointments.
• Maintain and update EMR ensuring accuracy and privacy compliance.

Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Call patients to relay test results in a timely and professional manner.
• Create and process referrals for specialised healthcare providers.
• Order labs and imaging while coordinating and scheduling appointments for patients.
• Maintain and update electronic medical records (EMR), ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Ensure adherence to healthcare regulations, including HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality.
• Use communication tools like Avaya soft phone to interact with patients and healthcare providers.
• Ad hoc tasks as needed to support the healthcare team.

Qualifications:

• RN License (USRN any state)
• At least 1-year experience as a Medical Virtual Assistant
• Specialisation or experience in patient care, family medicine, acute care, or clinical settings is preferred
• Excellent English communication skills both written and verbal (At least C1 level)
• Solid understanding of medical terminologies and practices
• Proficient in EHR/EMR systems and ability to troubleshoot common technical issues
• Understanding of healthcare privacy regulations
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Solid organizational & time management skills with keen attention to details
• Tech savvy & familiar with current technologies, like desktop sharing, cloud services, and VoIP
• Able to work on a graveyard shift

Schedule: US work hours (40 hours per week)

Location: This is a remote job

Salary Package (with HMO):

• Entry Level (1-3 years of experience): Up to PHP 39,500
• Intermediate Level (3-5 years of experience): Up to PHP 48,000
• Expert Level (5+ years of experience): Up to PHP 53,000
