Job summary

Ventra Health, Inc. is seeking a Self Pay Specialist to perform outbound collections and handle patient accounts. You will respond to inquiries, discuss insurance coverage, and set up payment arrangements while maintaining accurate records.

The role requires a 40-hour workweek in a smoke-free, office environment, with strong English fluency and healthcare billing knowledge. A 2-year associate degree is required with a bachelor’s preferred.

Qualifications

• Fluency in English is required.
• Basic knowledge of US health insurance coverages and benefits.
• Ability to understand, analyze, interpret and explain complex documents.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Experience in a high-volume call center is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive guarantor collections and resolve balances.
• Provide excellent customer service and document encounters and actions.
• Troubleshoot billing inquiries and explain insurance coverage.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve denials or missing payments.
• Handle special projects as assigned.
