Job summary

Ventra Health, Inc. is seeking a Self Pay Specialist to place outbound calls collecting healthcare balances from guarantors and handle related inbound inquiries.

You will work in a fast-paced call center, guiding patients through insurance coverages, explanations of benefits, and payment plan options to reach timely resolutions. Strong English fluency and knowledge of US health insurance concepts, plus solid computer skills, are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• One year of high-volume call center customer service experience.
• Healthcare call center experience preferred.
• Experience with soft telephone collection skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive guarantor collections across patient accounts.
• Provide exceptional customer service and account-resolution.
• Troubleshoot billing inquiries and insurance benefit explanations.
• Document encounters and action steps in the system.
• Collaborate with internal departments on denials and billing obstacles.
• Carry out special projects and other duties as assigned.
