Job summary

ALC Group of Companies in Metro Manila seeks an experienced Procurement Manager to lead end-to-end purchasing, supplier negotiations, and ensure compliance with company policies and legal standards.

You will optimize costs and quality through technical and commercial expertise, oversee material and equipment acquisition, and drive procurement improvements across projects by building strong supplier relationships and managing POs and ERP systems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in purchasing/procurement (at least 3 years in a managerial role).
• Construction, real estate, or project-based procurement background is a strong advantage.
• Ability to read Bill of Quantities (BOQ), plans, and technical specifications.
• Proficient in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and MS Office.
• Strong negotiation skills and vendor management experience.
• High integrity and executive presentation capability.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all purchasing operations comply with company policies, standard procedures, and applicable laws.
• Negotiate optimal prices, payment terms, and contracts for high-value and special project materials.
• Review Purchase Orders (POs) from purchasing staff before endorsement for executive signatures.
• Maintain an updated database of accredited suppliers, contractors, and vendors.
• Build and maintain strong long-term relationships with key suppliers.
• Represent the purchasing department in ManCom and ExCom meetings.
• Recommend modern procurement technologies, trends, and cost-saving initiatives.
• Conduct site visits and technical evaluations to assess supplier reliability, capacity, and quality.
• Handle other procurement-related duties assigned by management.
