Job summary

Lazada Philippines is seeking a Lead Procurement professional to direct end-to-end procurement for Logistics and Admin. The role will steer supplier relationships, negotiate terms, manage category strategies and ensure on-time delivery while aligning with local regulations and sustainability goals.

Qualified candidates bring 8+ years in procurement, strong leadership, and fluency in English and Tagalog. Knowledge of ERP systems and cross-functional collaboration is essential.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in procurement/supply chain with 3+ in logistics within the Philippines
• Experience in strategic sourcing, supplier negotiation and category management
• Fluent in English and Tagalog; Mandarin is advantageous
• Demonstrated leadership and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end procurement strategy and execution for Logistics and Admin within Lazada Philippines

Job description

1. 1/ Lead end-to-end procurement strategy and execution for key categories of Logistics and Admin within Lazada Philippines, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
2. 2/ Develop and manage supplier relationships mostly across local markets, driving cost efficiency (through various approaches: negotiation, price comparison, supply & business optimization, etc.), quality assurance, and on-time delivery performance.
3. 3/ Analyze market trends, pricing dynamics, and supply risks to optimize sourcing decisions and mitigate disruptions in the supply chain.
4. 4/ Collaborate cross-functionally with finance, logistics, and inventory planning teams to forecast demand, manage stock levels, and support promotional (campaign) activities.
5. 5/ Drive sustainability and compliance initiatives within the procurement process, ensuring adherence to Alibaba International’s ethical sourcing standards and local regulatory requirements.
6. 6/ Adhere to health, safety and environmental policies throughout daily works.
7. 7/ Perform as a direct person-in-contact for local procurement team.

Job Requirements

1. 1/ Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; MBA or professional procurement certification (e.g., CIPS) is a plus.
2. 2/ Minimum of 8 years of procurement or supply chain experience, with at least 3 years in logistics, e-commerce, retail, or fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), preferably within Philippines.
3. 3/ Proven track record in strategic sourcing, supplier negotiation, and category management, with strong analytical skills and proficiency in procurement tools and ERP systems.
4. 4/ Fluency in English & Tagalog; proficiency in Mandarin is advantageous. Strong cross-cultural communication and stakeholder management abilities.
5. 5/ Demonstrated leadership capabilities, with the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, data-driven environment and influence outcomes across multiple teams and geographies.
