TV5 Network, Inc. is seeking a senior digital leader to drive the Entertainment BU’s digital content strategy and revenue growth across YouTube, social, and the Entertainment website.
You will own programming calendars, originate high-value digital franchises, and lead cross-functional teams to scale audience and monetization. You will build relationships with talents, managers, production houses, and platform partners, ensuring rights clearances and governance while guiding strategic content
Leads TV5 Entertainment’s digital business: the creative, programming, and commercial engine that turns TV5’s shows, stars, stories, and library into digital-first content franchises, loyal online communities, and recurring revenue across YouTube, social media, and the Entertainment website. The role is accountable for both audience growth and digital content revenue of the Entertainment Business Unit, and is expected to lead from the front as its chief creative and ideation leader.
Set the Entertainment BU’s digital content, programming, and monetization strategy, with an annual and quarterly content slate across YouTube, Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, X/Threads, and the website, aligned with TV programming, show launches, and talent priorities.
Own the digital programming calendar, ensuring that every TV title has a digital content plan before it airs (pre-launch, on-air, post-episode, finale, and off-season), including mediacons, anniversaries, awards seasons, and fan events.
Define the content mix across originals, show extensions, talent-led content, clips and highlights, library and archive, and co-produced or acquired content, and set the rules on what premieres on digital, what premieres on TV, and what is shared across both.
Serve as the chief creative gatekeeper for Entertainment digital: lead ideation sessions, greenlight or stop formats, approve pilots, and raise the bar for content that is distinctly Filipino, talent-driven, and shareable.
Personally originate and pitch high-value digital-first franchises (series, reality and competition formats, talk and vlog formats, podcasts, livestreams) with the potential to scale, attract sponsors, be licensed, or graduate to television.
Mine TV5’s programs, co-productions, content library, and talent roster for digital IP, recurring franchises, and star-building opportunities.
Own the Entertainment BU’s digital revenue target and contribute to its P&L, growing revenue from platform ad revenue (YouTube, Facebook, and other platform programs), programmatic website inventory, branded content and sponsored series, talent-integrated brand deals, livestream and social commerce, and content licensing.
Work with the Business Growth Partner, Digital Commercial Lead, GAM Operations, and Sales to package sellable digital inventory and a sponsor-ready version of every major title and original format; join key client pitches and presentations.
Establish right-cost production models (cost per content, revenue per format, revenue per platform) and retire formats that do not earn audiences or revenue.
Build and maintain working relationships with talents, talent managers and agencies, production houses, co-production and content partners, platform partner managers (YouTube, Meta, TikTok), creators, brands, and agencies to secure access, exclusives, and collaborations.
Integrate TV5 talents’ personal digital presence into network content plans and set guidelines on talent participation, collaborations, takeovers, and content approvals.
Ensure content rights, clearances, talent agreements, music licensing, and platform policy compliance, and protect TV5 IP against unauthorized use in coordination with YouTube Operations and Legal.
Set KPIs for the department and review weekly performance dashboards with Analytics; translate insights into programming, packaging, and investment decisions.
Build, lead, and develop the team, hiring for showbiz fluency and hands-on creative skill; define clear workflows between the TV5 content leads and the Digital Operations teams (YouTube Operations, Technomedia, GAM, Commercial, Analytics, Digital Marketing, Technology).
Work closely with Entertainment Programming, Production, Creative, Promotions and Program Marketing, Sales, Legal, Finance, and Corporate Communications so that digital content powers program launches and network campaigns.
At least 7 years in Philippine entertainment (network entertainment, production, talent management, or entertainment digital publishing), with demonstrable relationships across talents, talent managers, publicists, producers, and entertainment media.
At least 12 to 15 years of experience in entertainment, broadcasting, digital media, or content production.
At least 5 years in senior digital leadership managing multi-platform content teams with revenue accountability, preferably in a TV network, studio, or major digital media company
A proven track record of creating, ideating, and producing digital-first entertainment content that achieved scale, supported by a portfolio of formats or series with performance results.
Deep fluency in Filipino pop culture, fandom and loveteam dynamics, star-building, and what makes Filipino audiences watch, share, and comment.
Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication, Broadcast Communication, Journalism, Digital Media, Marketing, Entertainment Management, Multimedia Arts, or a related field; a postgraduate degree is an advantage.
Equivalent industry credentials (a strong portfolio of produced, published, or showrun entertainment content) may be considered in lieu of a specific degree.
