Job summary

Moneybase, a Maltese financial services platform, seeks an experienced, commercially driven leader to establish its Moneybase Business Sales team in Malta. You will define and execute the corporate sales strategy from lead generation to deal closure, targeting local SMEs and expanding across EU markets.

Responsibilities include building and mentoring a high-performing sales team, forging strategic partnerships, and delivering revenue growth across payments, card issuing, treasury and FX

Qualifications

• 5-8+ years in B2B sales, with leadership experience.
• Proven track record in managing corporate client relationships.
• History of beating revenue targets and growing accounts.
• Strong knowledge of CRM tools and sales processes.
• Deep understanding of fintech, banking or financial services.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the corporate sales strategy aligned with growth objectives.
• Build and scale a Malta-based B2B sales team targeting local SMEs.
• Lead and mentor a high-performing sales team with accountability.
• Establish clear KPIs, processes and performance metrics.
• Identify revenue opportunities across payments, cards, FX and treasury.
• Collaborate with product and marketing to align offerings and initiatives.
• Own revenue targets, forecast, pipeline and profitability metrics.
• Report monthly on sales performance with the Chief Commercial Officer.
