Job summary

MAVI seeks an experienced Head Accountant to own the finance function of a high-growth US company, working remotely from LATAM. This senior role combines hands-on accounting with strategic FP&A, the close, the audit, and cash management.

You will build processes, lead multi-entity accounting, partner with founders and the board, and translate finance into actionable insights for non-finance colleagues. LATAM-based with overlap to US hours; SaaS/venture experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Senior finance leader with ownership of close, statutory reporting, and controls.
• Proven ability to partner with founders, CEOs and boards.
• Strong US GAAP knowledge and multi-entity accounting experience.

Responsibilities

• Own monthly, quarterly, and annual close with accuracy and timeliness.
• Lead P&L, balance sheet, cash flow and audits; manage external partners.
• Build finance processes, FP&A models, and fundraising support as needed.
