Job summary

nXscale is seeking a hands-on Café/Store Manager to lead the client’s café operations. You will oversee daily activities, manage staff schedules, ensure quality across food and beverages, and maintain health-code compliance.

You’ll play a key role in inventory control, POS operations, and building a great customer experience. You will supervise a small team, shape service standards, and collaborate with ownership on growth opportunities such as new locations, catering, and product lines.

Qualifications

• 1–3+ years in café/retail management.
• Hands-on daily operations experience.
• Strong organizational skills and inventory/cash handling.
• Food safety certification preferred or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Oversee opening/closing procedures, staffing schedules, and day-to-day floor operations.
• Hire, train and schedule baristas/staff as the team grows; coach on service standards.
• Maintain cleanliness, food safety, and health-code compliance; ensure consistent product quality.
• Partner with ownership on expansion ideas and build scalable SOPs and training materials.
