Chooks to Go Inc. in Kapitolyo, Pasig City, Metro Manila, is seeking a warm, welcoming Host to create a superb first impression and guide guests from arrival through seating.

This full-time role emphasizes exceptional guest service and efficient flow of guests throughout the venue. As a Host you will greet and seat guests, manage reservations, answer inquiries about menus and events, coordinate with staff, and maintain a neat host area.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a host, receptionist or front-of-house role within the hospitality industry
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage guests of all backgrounds
• Professional demeanour with a genuine passion for delivering outstanding customer service
• Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail in managing reservations and guest information
• Ability to remain calm and composed during busy periods and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Proficiency with reservation systems and point-of-sale technology (training provided if necessary)
• Fluency in English; additional language skills are advantageous
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and move around the venue as required
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends and public holidays
• A positive attitude and willingness to work collaboratively as part of a dynamic team

Responsibilities

• Greet all guests warmly and professionally upon arrival, providing a positive first impression
• Manage and maintain the reservation system, ensuring accurate bookings and efficient table management
• Seat guests promptly and appropriately, considering table availability and guest preferences
• Monitor wait times and keep guests informed of delays with courtesy and transparency
• Answer guest enquiries regarding menu options, restaurant policies and special events
• Coordinate with front-of-house and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction
• Manage the host stand, including answering phones and handling takeaway orders
• Maintain a clean, organised and welcoming host area at all times
• Respond to guest concerns promptly and professionally, escalating issues when necessary
• Assist with administrative tasks such as updating reservation systems and maintaining guest records
