Job summary

Century Pacific Food, Inc. is seeking a Group Category Manager to own the category commercial plan for assigned categories. You will align cross-functional teams in Sales, Category, Finance, Demand Planning and Logistics to deliver against budgets and the sales plan.

This role defines strategy, budgets, and promotional plans, manages forecasts across channels and customers, monitors performance, and ensures resources and investments enable effective execution.

Responsibilities

• Owns the process, governance, and communication for the category commercial plan and results.
• Defines the strategy and budgets required to deliver targets and the phased sales forecast.
• Develops the category promotional strategy across channels and customers.
• Manages the category forecast across channels and customers.
• Monitors category performance across channels (revenue) and customers.
• Provides sales input from a bottom-up forecast to the integrated business planning process.
• Defines the annual bottom-up customer and channel plan to meet business unit actual targets and forecast.
• Determines required investments, resources, and enablers for effective execution by customer and channel.
• In conjunction with Finance, Demand Planning, and Customer Service and Logistics, delivers monthly, quarterly, and annual targets.
• Ensures store score standards are planned and implemented across customers and retail environments.

GROUP CATEGORY MANAGER

Job Summary

As the primary contact for their assigned category, the Category Manager is accountable for the overall category commercial plan. The Category Manager owns the cross-functional alignment and marketing plan, delivering against the budgets and resources to achieve the sales plan, in conjunction with the Sales, Category, Finance, Demand Planning and Logistics teams.
