Job summary

Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) in the Philippines is seeking a Project Development Officer II to support grievance management operations. The role focuses on analyzing grievance trends, coordinating with regional offices, and drafting proposals and reports under the guidance of the Division Chief.

The incumbent will develop capacity-building activities, provide technical assistance, and help enhance policies related to client services and grievance handling.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree relevant to the job
• Training: 4 hours of relevant training
• Experience: 1 year of relevant experience
• Eligibility: Career Service (Professional)/Second Level Eligibility
• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Social Science courses
• Training: At least eight (8) hours of training (cumulative) in specified areas
• Experience: At least two (2) years in grievance management, coordination with stakeholders, data gathering, monitoring, use of information systems, and basic office productivity tools

Responsibilities

• Analyze grievance trends and program contexts
• Develop interventions/strategies to address grievance operations issues
• Cascade interventions to Field Offices and conduct technical sessions
• Draft minutes, feedback reports, or SOA
• Refer grievances outside GRS scope
• Prepare GRS accomplishment reports and data
• Serve as resource person on grievance redress process
• Perform other related tasks as assigned
• Identify operational issues and gaps from grievance data
• Formulate Technical Assistance plan
• Assist in Training Needs Assessment
• Assist in drafting activity proposals
• Gather feedback for policy development
• Draft activity proposals and budgetary matrices
• Draft minutes of meetings and summaries
