Job summary

Philip Morris International seeks a seasoned Transition Manager to lead large-scale global transition programs within the Global Business Solutions strategy team. You will drive governance, risk management, and change initiatives across markets and functions, mentoring managers and delivering measurable business value.

Role requires 8+ years in relevant finance/shared services environments, strong English communication, and a track record of complex program delivery.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Finance, Commercial, Shared Services, or Global Business Services environments.
• 5+ years in transition management, project management, and change management.
• Proven track record leading multiple complex transition or transformation programs.
• Strong leadership experience managing teams and developing talent.
• Expertise in stakeholder management across senior leaders, cross-functional teams, and external partners.
• Strong governance, risk management, and business process transformation capabilities.
• Ability to make sound decisions, influence outcomes, and operate in ambiguous environments.
• Advanced business English communication and presentation skills.
• Experience developing and executing change management and communication strategies.
• Nice-to-have: Global Business Services/Shared Services experience; Procure-to-Pay, Record-to-Report, Treasury, Controlling, or Customer Care exposure; professional certifications such as PMP/PMI-ACP/PRINCE2/PROSCI/ITIL/Lean Six Sigma.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end transition and transformation programs across multiple functions, geographies, and stakeholder groups.
• Develop and execute transition roadmaps, governance structures, and delivery plans.
• Manage program risks, budgets, timelines, scope, and change impacts.
• Drive executive communications, stakeholder engagement, and steering committee governance.
• Lead change management activities, including communication, training, and adoption planning.
• Mentor Transition Managers and ensure effective resource allocation and delivery excellence.
• Monitor KPIs and continuously improve transition processes and outcomes.
