Job summary

Our Clients is seeking an experienced Transition Manager in the Philippines to lead end-to-end migrations into a global shared services environment. The role spans assessment, design, knowledge transfer, go-live, stabilization, and handover to operations, coordinating with global leaders and process owners.

You will drive transition strategies, governance, and performance, ensuring minimal disruption while strengthening transformation capabilities across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field.
• 10+ years overall professional experience with at least 5 years in transition, migration, or transformation management.
• Experience in BPO/Shared Services or Global Business Services environments preferred.
• Proven track record delivering complex, multi-workstream transitions across teams and locations.
• Strong knowledge transfer, operational readiness, go-live, stabilization, and handover experience.
• Solid PMO governance, risk management, and stage-gate experience.
• Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills with global partners.
• Analytical, problem-solving, facilitation, negotiation, and decision-making abilities.
• Commercial and financial acumen including business case development.

Responsibilities

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Transition Manager to lead end-to-end business process migrations into a global shared services environment. This role will manage transitions from initial assessment and solution design through knowledge transfer, implementation, go-live, stabilization, and handover to operations.

The role will work closely with global business leaders, process owners, functional teams, and shared services stakeholders to ensure smooth transitions, minimal business disruption, and strong operational outcomes. The Transition Manager will also help strengthen transition methodologies, governance, and transformation capabilities across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead complex, end-to-end transition and migration programs across multiple functions, teams, and locations.
• Develop transition strategies, project plans, timelines, milestones, deliverables, and success measures.
• Manage the full transition lifecycle from assessment and planning through go-live, stabilization, and BAU handover.
• Conduct process assessments, feasibility studies, and readiness reviews; identify opportunities for standardization, simplification, and automation.
• Establish transition governance and manage project plans, risks, issues, dependencies, decisions, and stakeholder updates.
• Lead knowledge transfer activities including process walkthroughs, shadowing, reverse shadowing, coaching, and operational readiness.
• Partner with global stakeholders to manage expectations, communication, change impacts, and business requirements.
• Monitor transition costs, business cases, expected benefits, and overall program performance.
• Ensure appropriate risk, compliance, data privacy, security, and operational controls are in place before go-live.
• Support hypercare and stabilization, ensuring a smooth handover to the receiving operations team.
• Contribute to improving transition frameworks, tools, governance, and best practices across the organization.
• Coach and support project managers and transition team members as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of overall professional experience, with at least 5 years in transition, migration, or transformation management.
• Experience in BPO, Shared Services, Global Business Services (GBS), or similar environments preferred.
• Proven track record managing complex, multi-workstream transitions across teams, processes, and locations.
• Strong experience in knowledge transfer, operational readiness, go-live, stabilization, and BAU handover.
• Solid project/program management, PMO governance, risk management, and stage-gate experience.
• Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills, particularly with global stakeholders.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, facilitation, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
• Good commercial and financial acumen, including business cases and benefits realization.
• Knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma and change management principles.
• Comfortable working with global teams across different time zones.
• PMP, PRINCE2, Lean Six Sigma, or Change Management certification is an advantage.
• Master’s degree or postgraduate qualification is a plus.
