Job summary

Genesys Manila is seeking a Statutory Reporting Accountant to manage local statutory accounting and external reporting for multiple entities. The role requires IFRS proficiency, strong Excel skills, and prior audit/external reporting experience, preferably in a multinational setting.

You will collaborate with Controllership, Tax, Treasury, Legal, HR, and external firms, driving process improvements and onboarding new auditors.

Qualifications

• Chartered Accountant, RA, or CPA qualification.
• 2+ years of professional experience, including audit/external reporting, preferably within a Big 4 or multinational.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS; familiarity with other standards is a plus.
• Experience in preparing cash flow statements and consolidated financial statements.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with Workday Financials and OneSource Statutory Reporting.
• Experience with low-code/no-code platforms and workflow automation tools (Power Platform, Smartsheet, SharePoint).
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Self-starter with initiative and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective project management and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal skills and collaboration.
• Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day statutory accounting and external reporting for assigned entities, ensuring full compliance with local regulations and corporate policies.
• Drive continuous improvement in statutory reporting processes, aligned with automation, standardization, and simplification strategy.
• Serve as the primary liaison for external auditors on assigned audits, ensuring efficient coordination and timely delivery of audit requirements.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Controllership, Tax, Treasury, Legal, HR, and external accounting firms to ensure accuracy and timeliness of statutory financial data.
• Support onboarding of new accounting firms and auditors, including procurement requests and setup coordination.
• Participate in ad hoc projects and initiatives as needed.
