Job summary

Genesys Manila seeks a Statutory Reporting Accountant to support statutory compliance and group reporting across subsidiaries. You will manage day-to-day statutory accounting, coordinate with auditors, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

This role offers exposure to IFRS and global finance processes, with Big 4 or multinational experience preferred. Strong Excel, Workday or OneSource experience and a proactive, detail-oriented mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Professional accounting qualification (e.g., Chartered Accountant, RA, CPA).
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience, including audit/external reporting, preferably Big 4 or multinational.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS; familiarity with other standards is a plus.
• Experience in preparing cash flow statements and consolidated financial statements.
• Advanced Excel skills and attention to detail are essential.
• Experience with Workday Financials and OneSource Statutory Reporting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day statutory accounting and external reporting for assigned entities, ensuring compliance with local regulations and policies.
• Drive continuous improvement in statutory reporting processes aligned with automation and standardization strategies.
• Serve as primary liaison for external auditors on audits, coordinating efficiently and delivering requirements on time.
• Collaborate with Controllership, Tax, Treasury, Legal, HR and external accounting firms to ensure accurate data.
• Support onboarding of new accounting firms and auditors, including procurement requests and setup coordination.
• Participate in ad hoc projects and initiatives as needed.
