Job summary

Netflix Philippines Inc. in Manila seeks an Accountant to join the Manila Financial Reporting team, supporting statutory financial statements and external reporting for entities across EMEA, APAC, and LATAM.

You will coordinate local GAAP/IFRS filings, assist audits, and perform in-depth financial analysis while collaborating with cross-functional teams globally. Strong attention to detail and proactive communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance/Accounting and CA qualification required or equivalent.
• Experience with IFRS/GAAP and statutory filings for international entities preferred.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to reconcile financial data.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and prepare statutory financial statements under local GAAP/IFRS for Netflix entities outside the United States.
• Prepare and submit statistical survey reports for Netflix entities outside the United States.
• Assist with internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
• Perform financial analysis and reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data, including monthly and quarterly flux analysis.
• Assist with month-end close procedures, including posting journal entries in local GAAP books.
• Ensure alignment on accounting practices and reporting with cross-functional teams (finance, tax, legal).
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders across regions and time zones.
• Help with continuous improvement and optimization of accounting and financial reporting processes.
