Job summary

Genesys Manila is seeking a Statutory Reporting Accountant to join the Finance - Controllership Team. The role focuses on statutory compliance and external reporting across Genesys subsidiaries in a dynamic, international environment.

Ideal candidates hold a Chartered Accountant/CPA, with 2+ years in audit or external reporting, and strong IFRS knowledge. Proficiency in Workday Financials and automation tools is a plus, with advanced Excel skills required. Fluency in English is essential.

Qualifications

Professional accounting qualification (CA/CPA).
At least 2 years in audit or external reporting, preferably Big 4 or multinational.
Strong knowledge of IFRS; familiarity with other standards is a plus.
Proven experience in cash flow statements and consolidated financial statements.
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
Experience with Workday Financials, OneSource Statutory Reporting software preferred.
Experience with low-code/no-code platforms and workflow automation tools such as Power Platform, Smartsheet and SharePoint is a plus.
Advanced Excel skills are required.

Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day statutory accounting and external reporting for assigned entities.
Drive improvement in statutory reporting processes aligning with automation and standardization.
Serve as primary liaison for external auditors on assigned audits.
Collaborate with Controllership, Tax, Treasury, Legal, HR and external accounting firms.
Support onboarding of new accounting firms and auditors including procurement setup.
Participate in ad hoc projects and initiatives as needed.
