Job summary

MicroSourcing, Eastwood, Quezon City, is seeking a Senior Accountant - International Statutory to lead statutory reporting and external audits for international subsidiaries across EMEA, APAC and LATAM. The role blends hands-on accounting with cross-border compliance in a hybrid work setup.

You will prepare annual statutory financial statements and management accounts for about 20 entities, partner with outsourced providers, and collaborate with the Global Tax team to ensure accurate tax

Responsibilities

• Lead statutory reporting and external audits for a portfolio of international subsidiaries across EMEA, APAC and LATAM.
• Prepare annual statutory financial statements, management accounts, audit schedules and supporting analysis for approximately 20 international legal entities.
• Confirm the validity, completeness and accuracy of account balances through journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations and analytical review, including accruals and intercompany transactions.
• Partner with outsourced accounting providers to maintain local books and support compliance with applicable local GAAP and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with the Global Tax team on corporate income tax returns, tax provisions and related compliance activities.
• Research accounting matters and prepare clear technical accounting memoranda in collaboration with internal stakeholders and external advisors.
• Support the implementation of reporting and close-management tools, while identifying opportunities to standardize, automate and strengthen global processes.
• Maintain compliance with company policies, internal controls and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements, including appropriate documentation and document retention.
• Complete or review local compliance documentation, including government surveys and other required statutory submissions.
• Contribute to special projects and other priorities across the Global Controllership organization.
