Job summary

Johnson & Johnson in the Philippines seeks a Payroll DS Manager based in Taguig. The role delivers end-to-end payroll for a defined country set, ensuring timely, accurate processing in line with policy and local statutory requirements.

You will lead a matrixed payroll team, manage vendor performance and audits, and drive continuous improvement, automation, and standardized controls to support compliant payroll operations.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in Payroll, HR, and/or Finance operations.
• 3+ years in a Management/People Leader role.
• Experience managing multi-country payroll operations.
• Experience overseeing payroll controls, compliance, audits, and statutory requirements.
• Ability to lead teams through change in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
• Excellent English language written and verbal communication abilities, with strong presentation and facilitation skills.
• Knowledge of SOX and compliance preferred.
• Payroll, Project Management, Analytics, Lean Six Sigma certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end payroll delivery for assigned countries, ensuring timely and accurate payroll processing in compliance with policy and local statutory requirements.
• Oversee payroll controls, reconciliations, and remittances.
• Lead matrixed team of payroll supervisors and contributors.
• Drive process improvement, automation, and standardization in payroll.
