Job summary

CARE Philippines seeks a skilled Business Operations Officer to manage day-to-day finances, contracts, and procurement for a USD $10M+ annual budget across five teams.

Reporting to the Director of Finance and working with the Senior Grants and Finance Manager, the role covers financial reporting, grant data management, expense adjustments, and cross-department coordination with CARE's SSC and Finance Department.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field with 2+ years in budgeting, financial reporting, or grant management.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency with formulas, pivot tables, graphs.
• Strong organizational skills to prioritize, meet deadlines, and work under pressure.
• Ability to build positive working relationships across diverse cultures and countries.

Responsibilities

• Assist procurement and contract processes, purchase requisitions and invoices.
• Support budgeting and financial reporting, donor agreements, and budget vs. actual analyses.
• Utilize BudgetMate, Power BI, and PeopleSoft to update budgets and grant reporting.
• Collaborate across departments and with the Shared Service Center to ensure compliance and accuracy.
