Job summary

Relief International is seeking a Finance Officer in Cotabato City to support financial management, budgeting, monitoring and reporting for project activities in the Philippines. The role reports to the Country Finance Manager and collaborates with Finance, HR, Supply Chain and Program teams to ensure donor compliance and strong financial controls.

The successful candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, at least 3 years in NGO finance, and advanced Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or related field.
• Proven experience with Philippine tax laws and donor reporting.
• Strong integrity, accountability and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage project financial transactions, accounting records and controls.
• Monitor budgets, perform variance analyses and prepare donor reports.
• Reconcile bank accounts, advances, taxes and payables.
• Assist in audits and partner/grantee financial oversight.
• Provide financial guidance to project teams and ensure regulatory compliance.
