Job summary

Joinimagine is seeking a Logistics Export Specialist to manage end-to-end ocean freight export operations. You will ensure accurate documentation, coordinate carrier bookings, and handle billing and collections while maintaining proactive customer communication.

You will liaise with shippers, brokers, and internal teams to ensure timely shipments, regulatory filings, and seamless execution of export operations.

Qualifications

• Manage end-to-end export documentation with accuracy and compliance.
• Coordinate shipment bookings with carriers and maintain shipment files.
• Handle billing, invoicing, accruals, and COD collection before document release.
• Maintain proactive communication with customers and stakeholders.
• Ensure regulatory filings (AMS, ENS, ACI, JP24, FMC) are completed as required.
• Collaborate with internal teams and Global Service Center for seamless operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end export documentation by ensuring completeness and compliance with customs and internal guidelines.
• Validate booking details (Incoterms, payment terms, special instructions) and secure required approvals.
• Coordinate shipment booking and optimization with carriers; create and maintain shipment files.
• Arrange pick-up and transport for export shipments as needed.
• Liaise with shippers, brokers, carriers, and internal stakeholders to gather required documents.
• Monitor shipment milestones, provide confirmations and updates to customers.
• Prepare shipping instructions, drafts Bills of Lading, and release documents after payment.
• Ensure destination-specific regulatory filings are completed.
• Handle billing processes, including invoice preparation and COD collections.
• Address operational accounting issues and revenue leaks.
• Maintain proactive customer communication and resolve deviations.
• Coordinate with overseas offices and Global Service Center for seamless execution.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Team Lead.
