Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking a Logistics & Export/Import Documentation Specialist to oversee daily operations, coordinate with brokers and stations, and ensure compliant international shipments. You will lead a small team and drive accuracy in documentation, schedules, and cost controls.

Ideal candidates have FMCG or food industry experience, a customs/ logistics degree, and at least two years in export/import with supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Customs Administration, Logistics & Supply Chain Management, International Business, or related field.
• At least 2 years in export/import logistics or international shipping.
• At least 2 years of supervisory experience leading a logistics or documentation team.
• Strong knowledge of export/import documentation, customs regulations, freight forwarding, and international shipping processes.
• Experience in a manufacturing, FMCG, or export-oriented company.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems is an advantage.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day logistics operations, including local and international shipments.
• Oversee the preparation and review of export/import documents to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, shipping lines, and government agencies to facilitate smooth shipment processing.
• Monitor shipment schedules, resolve logistics issues, and ensure on-time delivery.
• Lead and support the Logistics Officer and Documentation Staff to achieve operational targets.
• Prepare logistics reports and monitor key performance indicators such as shipment status, freight costs, and documentation accuracy.
• Identify opportunities to improve logistics processes, documentation efficiency, and cost management.
