Job summary

Coherent Corp. Philippines is seeking a Logistics Operations Professional to oversee daily logistics, import/export, warehouse coordination, and ensure timely movement of materials.

You will monitor shipments, coordinate with 3PLs and customs, optimize costs, and ensure compliance with Philippine regulations while aligning logistics with production schedules and customer requirements. This role requires collaboration with procurement, planning, and production teams across sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain, industrial engineering, business admin or related field.
• 1–2 years' experience in logistics, supply chain, or import/export operations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Experience in manufacturing/electronics environment is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of international shipping and customs compliance (Philippines).

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily logistics operations (import/export, local deliveries, warehouse coordination).
• Monitor shipment status, resolve delays, and communicate updates to stakeholders.
• Coordinate with 3PL providers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers.
• Ensure compliance with Philippine customs regulations, PEZA requirements (if applicable), and international trade laws.
• Review shipping documents (invoices, packing lists, B/L, AWB, permits) and manage permits/licenses.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Planning, Production, and Customer Service teams.
• Align logistics activities with production schedules and customer requirements.
• Utilize ERP systems for shipment transaction and inventory movement; prepare reports.
