Job summary

Visa is seeking an experienced Licensing Analyst in Manila to manage licensing programs and oversee regulatory compliance for new and add-on Visa products. You will translate business needs into technical guidance, document requirements, and support successful implementations.

The role requires handling complex licensing scenarios, collaborating with clients and internal teams, and contributing to process improvements. Flexibility for extended hours is expected in a 24/7 environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or advanced degree required.
• Experience in licensing or regulatory processes in financial/payments.
• Experience gathering and documenting business/technical requirements.
• Experience troubleshooting and escalating technical issues.
• Experience maintaining project plans, status reports, and logs.
• Experience translating business requirements into technical docs.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience in a global environment with diverse priorities.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams and meet deadlines.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules including weekends/overtime for 24/7 operations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a subject matter expert on license requests and guide applicants through bylaws and regulatory requirements.
• Analyze licensing eligibility and manage licensing processes for clients.
• Consult with clients and handle license administration requests (sponsorships, upgrades, mergers, terminations).
• Identify opportunities to improve service quality or efficiency.
• Ensure licensing team and stakeholders deliver on commitments and meet expectations.
• Investigate licensing questions, understanding bylaws, banking structures, and regulatory requirements.
• Provide recommendations and refer cases to management when risks arise.
• Assess how client licensing data affects upstream/downstream processes.
• Build awareness of licensing rules and processes across markets.
• Contribute to system and process improvements, including acceptance testing.
