Job summary

UnitedHealth Group’s Optum unit in Manila is seeking an HR Operations professional to manage employee life cycle changes and benefits administration. The role covers hiring, transfers, pay changes, and absence management, while ensuring SLA targets are met.

You'll support records management, case handling, and policy compliance, with exposure to SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, and HR systems. A strong customer service orientation is essential in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any field.
• 2+ years of experience in HR Generalist, HR Benefits Administration, or related HR functions.
• Experience in case management, employee inquiries, issue resolution, and HR support services.
• Knowledge of Philippine labor laws, company policies, and statutory benefits, including SSS, PhilHealth, and Pag-IBIG.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite - Especially EXCEL and PowerPoint.
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects.
• Proven superior customer service orientation and communication skills.
• Proven growing analytical skills and problem-solving skills.
• Proven good written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Process employee life cycle changes in HR system.
• Execute key HR processes such as hiring, position changes, transfers, pay changes, absence management and termination and meet the SLA targets for the process.
• Manage and support records management processes including sorting, grooming, scanning, indexing and invoicing.
• May be assigned across related HR Operations and Payroll sub-functions.
• End to end benefits administration for SSS, HDMF, Philhealth and BIR.
• Resolve service requests and capture in Case Management Tool.
• Escalate complex cases to appropriate resource as needed.
• Use procedures and reference materials to resolve inquiries or issues.
• Perform quality audits and maintain effective relationships with employees.
