Job summary

Remitly is seeking a People Operations Partner to own day-to-day HR processes across the full employee lifecycle, with a focus on timekeeping for Philippines-based staff. You’ll drive operational rigor, propose improvements, and collaborate with HR partners to deliver simple, accurate, and scalable people programs.

You will work in a hybrid, globally minded culture and help ensure processes are inclusive and compliant across locations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in HR operations, project coordination, or a closely related function.
• Experience with Jeonsoft ESS and Workday for timekeeping and HRIS administration; Philippines experience a plus.
• Interested in improving processes and proposing solutions, not just observations.
• Curious, empathetic, and able to navigate challenging situations with employees.
• Passionate about Remitly’s mission and serving immigrant communities.

Responsibilities

• Provide timekeeping support for the Philippines employee population with accurate tracking and reconciliation.
• Handle day-to-day HR operations: onboarding, offboarding, leaves of absence, payroll review support, and benefits administration.
• Manage HR JIRA ticketing end-to-end from intake to resolution and escalation.
• Administer HRIS platforms including Workday and ensure data integrity across records.
• Support onboarding, internal transfers, and offboarding programs.
• Identify gaps, pitch improvements, and take initiative on process enhancements.
• Act as a bridge for employees navigating HR and ensure a helpful, proactive experience.
• Document and maintain People Operations policies and procedures.
