Job summary

Hitachi Rail STS S.P.A Philippine Branch Office seeks an experienced HR Local Entity Generalist to manage end-to-end employee lifecycle, onboarding, changes, transfers, and offboarding while upholding a superior employee experience and operational excellence in a multinational setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years progressive experience in a Human Resources Generalist role within a multinational company
• Bachelor’s degree or above in human resources, Business Administration, and related fields
• Solid hands-on experience managing outsourced payroll operations and statutory compliance
• Proven experience supporting or administering global equity programs (ESPP, RSU, stock awards)
• Strong understanding of local labor laws, tax regulations, social insurance, and compensation practices
• Experience with Mercer Job Architecture, IPE methodology, job grading, and market surveys
• Advanced proficiency in Workday (Compensation, HCM, Position Management, Reporting, Org Management)
• Advanced Excel and HR analytics skills with focus on data accuracy and reporting quality

Responsibilities

• Oversee HR operations, employee lifecycle, and compliance across local entity
• Lead policy handbook drafting and updates to align with laws and global policies
• Partner with Legal, Compliance, and stakeholders on policy reviews and risk assessments
• Generate HR metrics, dashboards, and analytics for workforce planning
• Collaborate with regional/global HR teams on projects and change management
• Manage payroll coordination with external vendors and benefits administration
