Job summary

HPL GameDesign is seeking a Business Development professional to drive lead generation, outbound prospecting, and appointment setting across gaming, tech, and related sectors. You will build a qualified pipeline, perform multi-channel outreach, and present the company’s services including game development and art capabilities.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in Business Development, Sales Development, Lead Generation, Appointment Setting, or B2B Sales.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal, presentation, and relationship-building abilities.
• Experience using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity) to improve research, communication, and productivity.
• Strong research, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while consistently meeting performance targets.
• Familiarity with CRM platforms such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar systems is preferred.
• Experience assisting with CRM implementation or setup is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Research and identify potential clients across the gaming, technology, advertising, entertainment, and related industries.
• Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified prospects using LinkedIn, company websites, online databases, industry directories, networking platforms, and other lead sources.
• Execute daily outbound prospecting through cold emails, LinkedIn outreach, cold calls, and industry networking platforms.
• Personalize outreach messages to improve engagement and response rates.
• Introduce and present HPL GameDesign's services including Game Development, Unity Development, Unreal Engine Development, 2D Art, 3D Art, Character Design, Concept Art, and Animation.
• Handle initial objections professionally and gather relevant information before handing qualified opportunities to senior Business Development personnel.
• Schedule qualified discovery meetings and sales presentations for the Business Development Manager or Vice President.
• Assist in initiating and implementing the company's CRM platform (HubSpot) and help develop CRM processes, workflows, and sales tracking standards.
• Accurately log all outreach activities, conversations, meeting notes, follow-ups, and communication history in the CRM.
• Utilize AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or Perplexity to improve productivity, research prospective clients, draft and personalize communications, and assist with reporting and business research.
