AimBig Employment Pty Ltd is seeking a Fixed Assets Accounting Manager to lead the asset accounting team and oversee end-to-end fixed asset processes in a global context. The role focuses on governance, internal controls, and continuous improvement within a multinational finance function.

The successful candidate will manage month-, quarter-, and year-end closes, ensure compliance with US GAAP and IFRS, and collaborate with stakeholders to optimize service delivery and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related discipline.
• Strong experience in Fixed Assets Accounting within a multinational or shared services environment.
• Hands-on experience with SAP ERP, including fixed asset accounting, asset capitalization, depreciation processing, and reporting.
• Proven people leadership experience with the ability to develop, coach, and motivate teams.
• Deep understanding of fixed assets accounting, capitalization, depreciation, asset lifecycle management, and internal controls.
• Knowledge of US GAAP and/or IFRS.
• Exposure to broader Record-to-Report (R2R) processes is advantageous.
• Demonstrated success in driving process improvements, standardization initiatives, and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Asset Accounting team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Oversee end-to-end fixed assets accounting and sub-ledger operations.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and corporate policies.
• Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities related to fixed assets.
• Drive operational excellence through process optimization and standardization initiatives.
• Partner with key stakeholders across finance and business functions.
• Support audit requirements, governance activities, and control compliance.
• Identify opportunities to enhance service delivery and team performance.
