Job summary

Private Advertiser in the Philippines is seeking a Global Finance Director to lead finance, accounting, and HR for an international operation. Reporting to the CEO, this role oversees global financial operations, controllership, tax compliance, planning, ERP implementation, and HR service delivery.

The ideal candidate is a CPA with Big Four experience, strong IFRS/GAAP knowledge, and a hands-on leadership style to build scalable processes and drive performance across multiple jurisdictions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field.
• CPA qualification is required.
• Minimum of 20 years of experience in finance and accounting.
• Mandatory experience working with a Big Four accounting firm.
• Expert knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, AASB 15 (IFRS 15), and AASB 16.
• Proven experience in global tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
• Experience leading large-scale ERP implementations; NetSuite and Odoo experience preferred.
• Background in the software industry is an advantage.
• Experience in international business environments and cross-border financial operations.
• Proven ability to partner with business units and present to C-suite executives.

Responsibilities

• Lead accounting, controllership, and cash management across GAAP/IFRS frameworks.
• Oversee tax compliance and planning across multiple jurisdictions.
• Lead financial reporting, forecasting, and budgeting activities.
• Drive ERP implementation and process improvements (NetSuite, Odoo, etc.).
• Manage HR service delivery and related policies across the organization.
