Job summary

PM Consulting is seeking a Head of Finance Transformation to lead finance transformation, controllership, and finance systems initiatives for a global organization. The role targets a senior Finance leader with hands-on experience in BPO, Shared Services, or Global Business Services, and deep knowledge of finance systems, tax compliance, and process transformation.

Qualifications

• 12–15+ years in Finance, Accounting, Controllership, or Finance Systems.
• At least 6 years leading Finance teams.
• Experience in BPO, Shared Services, or Global Business Services.
• Experience with Finance Transformation, ERP implementation, or process automation.
• Strong knowledge of Philippine tax/regulatory compliance (BIR).
• CPA or equivalent certification is highly preferred.
• MBA is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead finance and controllership activities related to systems development/implementation.
• Partner with IT and cross-functional teams on design, testing and processes improvements.
• Drive finance transformation to improve processes, controls, systems, and efficiency.
• Oversee month-end closing, system feeds, reconciliations, and controls.
• Develop project plans and conversion/reconciliation frameworks for system changes.
• Identify and resolve finance systems, process, and control issues.
• Provide strategic direction to the local Finance team and direct reports.
• Present updates to senior leadership and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with Philippine tax and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee BIR filings and compliance, including VAT, withholding taxes, DST.
• Ensure PEZA/BOI compliance and reportorial obligations.
• Oversee Transfer Pricing compliance and intercompany arrangements.
• Manage regulatory examinations and remediation activities.
• Collaborate with external advisors, regulators, IT, and stakeholders.

We are looking for a Head of Finance Transformation to lead finance transformation, controllership, and finance systems initiatives for a global organization.

This role is ideal for a senior Finance leader with strong experience in BPO, Shared Services, or Global Business Services, combined with hands-on expertise in finance systems, accounting operations, tax compliance, and process transformation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead finance and controllership activities related to finance systems development, enhancement, and implementation.
• Partner with IT and cross-functional teams on finance system design, testing, implementation, and process improvements.
• Lead finance transformation initiatives focused on improving financial processes, controls, systems, and operational efficiency.
• Oversee month-end closing activities, system feeds, reconciliations, and financial controls.
• Develop finance project plans, conversion strategies, and reconciliation frameworks for system changes and implementations.
• Identify and resolve finance systems, process, and control issues.
• Provide strategic direction to the local Finance team and manage direct reports.
• Present financial, operational, and transformation updates to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with Philippine tax and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee BIR tax filings and compliance, including income tax, VAT, withholding taxes, DST, and annual information returns.
• Ensure compliance with PEZA/BOI requirements and reportorial obligations.
• Oversee Transfer Pricing compliance, documentation, and intercompany arrangements.
• Manage regulatory examinations, assessments, and remediation activities.
• Partner with external advisors, regulators, IT, and business stakeholders to ensure effective finance governance and operations.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 12-15+ years of experience in Finance, Accounting, Controllership, or Finance Systems.
• At least 6 years of leadership experience managing Finance teams.
• Strong background in BPO, Shared Services, or Global Business Services.
• Proven experience in Finance Transformation, Finance Systems, ERP implementation, or process automation.
• Strong controllership background, including General Ledger, month-end close, reconciliations, and financial controls.
• Strong knowledge of Philippine tax and regulatory compliance, particularly BIR requirements.
• Experience with PEZA/BOI compliance is highly preferred.
• Experience in Transfer Pricing and cross-border tax matters is highly preferred.
• Experience handling regulatory examinations, assessments, and remediation.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with Finance, IT, Operations, and senior leadership.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management capabilities.
• Proficient in financial systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• CPA or equivalent certification is highly preferred.
• MBA is an advantage.
