Job summary

Workstream is seeking an Operations Manager for Global Data Operations to lead data-gathering initiatives for our robotics division, partnering with Recruiting and People Ops to drive high-volume participant acquisition while ensuring data quality and compliance.

You will manage a distributed team across the Philippines and the US, oversee a physical lab, tackle onboarding, equipment verification, and ongoing quality reviews, with the role starting remote and transitioning to a local office.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in Operations Management, leading distributed or "gig" workforces.
• Experience managing teams across the Philippines and the US, with sensitivity to cultural/logistical differences.
• Hands-on with multi-camera hardware and data collection processes to ensure data integrity.
• Strong analytical mindset to identify failure points in training/recruitment filters.
• Ability to set up and operate a global office and remote work processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a large distributed team of Video Data Contributors and possibly a small team of Team Leads or Quality Auditors.
• Oversee a Workstream Lab with office-based team members using complex multi-camera wearable setups.
• Conduct weekly Office Hours and Q&A sessions to troubleshoot contributor issues and provide feedback on recording techniques.
• Monitor contributor engagement and retention, implementing strategies to reduce churn in a month-to-month contract environment.
• Coordinate with Recruiting on equipment verification and onboarding to ensure project readiness.
• Manage compensation structures and payroll in partnership with Deel, and ensure timely monthly payments.
