Job summary

Workstream is seeking an Operations Manager for Global Data Operations to lead high-volume data-gathering initiatives for our robotics division. You will partner with Recruiting and People Ops to drive participant acquisition, while owning data output quality across hundreds of participants helping robots learn to interact with the world.

This role manages a truly global operation, bridging data collection with AI research.

Qualifications

6+ years in Operations Management, leading distributed or gig workforces.
Experience managing teams across the Philippines and the US, with cultural and logistical awareness.
Ability to troubleshoot multi-camera hardware and guide technical nuances to ensure data integrity.
Knowledge of data privacy guidelines and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

Lead and mentor a large, distributed team of Video Data Contributors and potentially Team Leads or Quality Auditors.
Oversee a Workstream Lab with office-based staff using complex multi-camera setups.
Conduct weekly office hours and Q&A sessions to troubleshoot issues and provide feedback on recording techniques.
Monitor contributor engagement and retention in a month-to-month contract environment.
Coordinate with Recruiting on equipment verification and onboarding processes.
Manage the compensation structure and payroll processes via Deel.
