Job summary

IONOS is seeking a German Chat & Email Support Representative in Cebu City to handle customer inquiries through chat and email, providing clear and accurate responses. The role requires basic to intermediate German proficiency and comfort using translation tools to communicate effectively with customers.

The candidate will be the primary contact for IONOS 1&1 support, work on improving weekly and monthly performance, and report issues to supervisors.

Qualifications

• Must have basic to intermediate proficiency in German, particularly in written communication.
• Must be proficient in using translation tools (Google Translate or similar) to support customer communication.
• Nice to have: basic to intermediate spoken German ability.

Responsibilities

• Main contact for customers for IONOS 1&1 support via chat and email.
• Improve weekly and monthly performance based on supervisor feedback.
• Proactively inform and report issues to supervisor for support.
• Recommend solutions to customer issues and concerns.
• Attend coaching sessions and participate in organizational activities.
• Interact with team members and other departments within the company.

Goals of this Position

We are seeking a Non-Voice German Customer Support Representative with basic to intermediate German proficiency to provide customer support through chat and email. The role involves handling customer inquiries, resolving basic technical and administrative concerns, and delivering clear and accurate responses. The ideal candidate should be comfortable using Google Translate to effectively understand and respond to German-language customer communications while maintaining a high standard of service.

• Must have basic to intermediate proficiency in German, particularly in written communication.
• Must be proficient in using Google Translate or other translation tools to effectively support customer communication.
• Nice to have: Basic to intermediate ability to communicate verbally in German.
