Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Business Management, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred
• Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in educational management, preferably within a vocational training, technical institution, or similar educational setting
• Demonstrated experience in strategic planning, institutional development, and operational management within an educational context
• Strong knowledge of vocational education frameworks, curriculum development, and industry-relevant training delivery
• Excellent financial management and budgeting skills with experience in resource allocation and cost control
• Proven leadership capabilities with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop teams across diverse functions
• Strong understanding of government regulations, accreditation requirements, and compliance standards in technical vocational education
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders including students, staff, employers, and government agencies
• Experience in stakeholder engagement, partnership development, and community relations
• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to implement innovative solutions to enhance institutional effectiveness
• Knowledge of educational technology and learning management systems is advantageous

• Developing and implementing strategic initiatives to enhance student enrolment, retention, and employment outcomes
• Fostering partnerships with industry stakeholders, employers, and other educational institutions to strengthen the relevance and reputation of our programmes
• Monitoring institutional performance through key performance indicators and implementing continuous improvement strategies
• Representing the institution in stakeholder meetings, community engagements, and official functions
• Ensuring the maintenance and development of campus facilities, equipment, and learning resources to support effective teaching and learning

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and visionary General Manager for our Technical Vocational Institution based in Makati City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that offers the opportunity to lead and shape the strategic direction of our vocational training facility. As General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all operational, academic, and administrative functions of the institution, ensuring the delivery of exceptional technical and vocational education whilst maintaining the highest standards of institutional governance and performance.
