Job summary

Stacktrek Enterprise Inc. in Makati City seeks a seasoned General Manager to lead our Technical Vocational Institution. You will oversee all operational, academic, and administrative functions, ensuring the delivery of high-quality vocational education and strong governance.

You will drive strategic planning, budget management, curriculum relevance, and compliance with regulatory standards. Building partnerships with industry, expanding enrolment, and improving learner outcomes will be central

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Education, Business Management, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred
Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in educational management, preferably within a vocational training, technical institution, or similar educational setting
Demonstrated experience in strategic planning, institutional development, and operational management within an educational context
Strong knowledge of vocational education frameworks, curriculum development, and industry-relevant training delivery
Excellent financial management and budgeting skills with experience in resource allocation and cost control
Proven leadership capabilities with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop teams across diverse functions
Strong understanding of government regulations, accreditation requirements, and compliance standards in technical vocational education
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders including students, staff, employers, and government agencies
Experience in stakeholder engagement, partnership development, and community relations
Problem-solving mindset with the ability to implement innovative solutions to enhance institutional effectiveness
Knowledge of educational technology and learning management systems is advantageous

Responsibilities

Providing strategic leadership and vision for the technical vocational institution, setting organisational goals and ensuring alignment with institutional mission and values
Overseeing all academic programmes and ensuring curriculum quality, relevance, and compliance with vocational education standards and regulatory requirements
Managing the overall budget, financial planning, and resource allocation to ensure cost-effectiveness and sustainable institutional growth
Leading and managing the administrative and academic staff, including recruitment, performance management, professional development, and team engagement
Ensuring compliance with all relevant educational regulations, accreditation standards, and government policies governing technical vocational institutions
Developing and implementing strategic initiatives to enhance student enrolment, retention, and employment outcomes
Fostering partnerships with industry stakeholders, employers, and other educational institutions to strengthen the relevance and reputation of our programmes
Monitoring institutional performance through key performance indicators and implementing continuous improvement strategies
Representing the institution in stakeholder meetings, community engagements, and official functions
Ensuring the maintenance and development of campus facilities, equipment, and learning resources to support effective teaching and learning
