Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Education, Business Admin, or related field.
• 3–5 years of training and development experience.
• Proven ability to design and deliver training to diverse audiences.
• Strong knowledge of adult learning, instructional design, and training methodologies.
• Proficiency with LMS and training delivery platforms.
• Experience with e-learning development and virtual training (preferred).

Responsibilities

About the role

Abenson Ventures, Inc. is seeking a Training Manager to join our Human Resources & Recruitment team on a full-time basis in Metro Manila. In this strategic role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering comprehensive training and development programmes that enhance the capabilities of our workforce. The Training Manager plays a crucial role in supporting organisational growth and employee engagement by ensuring that all staff members have access to high-quality learning and development opportunities aligned with our business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive training strategies and programmes that address organisational skill gaps and support business goals
• Design, create, and deliver engaging training content across multiple formats, including classroom sessions, online modules, and interactive workshops
• Conduct training needs assessments across departments to identify skill development requirements and recommend appropriate learning solutions
• Manage the training calendar and coordinate logistics for all learning and development initiatives
• Evaluate the effectiveness of training programmes through assessments, feedback surveys, and performance metrics
• Maintain training records, documentation, and learning management systems to ensure compliance and accessibility
• Collaborate with department heads and senior management to align training initiatives with strategic priorities
• Coach and mentor team members involved in training delivery to ensure consistent quality and professionalism
• Stay current with training trends, methodologies, and best practices within the Human Resources and Training & Development industry
• Budget management for training programmes and resources

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, Business Administration, or a related field
• Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in training and development, instructional design, or a related role
• Proven experience designing and delivering effective training programmes to diverse audiences
• Strong knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design, and training methodologies
• Proficiency in learning management systems (LMS) and training delivery platforms
• Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Preferred: Experience with e-learning development and virtual training delivery
