Job summary

AboitizPower is seeking a Supervisory GA to lead General Accounting, Cash Management, AR and Fixed Asset operations in the Philippines. The role drives month-end close, journal entries, and ensures GA compliance with GAAP/FRS and company policies.

You will mentor staff, perform performance appraisals, and support the business with accurate financial reporting and process improvements. CPA certification and at least 3 years in general accounting, plus 1 year of leadership, are required to join a

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy
• CPA certification is required.
• Minimum 3 years of general accounting experience.
• At least 1 year of leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of General Accounting, Cash Management, Accounts Receivable and Fixed Asset Management.
• Review and approve reports.
• Review and approve journal entries according to FinLOA.
• Validate accuracy of entered transactions based on Generally Accepted Accounting Principles or Financial Reporting Standards and according to established Company policies and procedures.
• Conduct performance appraisal of direct TM.
• Responsible for the TM's overall development plan and next-in-line identification.
