Job summary

The Corporate Finance Manager at AboitizPower in the Philippines will lead financial planning, analysis, and advisory to support major capital investments and strategic ventures. You will build and stress-test robust financial models (DCF, NPV, IRR) and ensure governance across forecasting, budgeting, and executive reporting.

We seek a professional with a strong track record in FP&A, corporate finance, and deal evaluation, plus a CFA designation is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance, investment evaluation, or business finance.
  • Proven ability to independently build and stress-test advanced financial models (such as DCF, NPV, and IRR).
  • Strong experience in budgeting, financial forecasting, variance analysis, and compiling comprehensive corporate business cases.
  • CFA designation is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Financial Planning, Analysis & Business Advisory to senior management and business development teams.
  • Build and maintain advanced financial models (DCF, NPV, IRR) to evaluate strategic capital investments.
  • Provide financial advisory by conducting market research and evaluating deal structures.
  • Perform variance analysis and prepare detailed business cases for senior management.
  • Develop corporate financial policies in coordination with the Distribution Finance Group.
  • Prepare executive presentations and comprehensive Board decks.
  • Foster collaborative stakeholder relationships through trust and open communication.
  • Support capability development and mentor cross-functional teams in finance best practices.
  • Promote Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion to drive better business decisions.
  • Maintain financial systems that ensure compliance, documentation, and continuous operational improvement.
  • Uphold organization values and ensure compliance with all corporate policies.

The Corporate Finance Manager is responsible for providing senior management and business development teams with the critical analysis and information required to make major operational and financial decisions to successfully execute strategic Capital Investment Decisions on new business ventures. This role bridges rigorous financial planning with collaborative business advisory, ensuring all investment projects are backed by robust modeling, optimized financial forecasting, and sound corporate governance.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
  • Financial Planning, Analysis & Business Advisory
    • Manage financial modeling, planning, and budgeting to achieve business unit goals.
    • Build and maintain advanced financial models (DCF, NPV, IRR, sensitivity analysis) to evaluate strategic capital investments.
    • Provide financial advisory to Business Development teams by conducting market research and evaluating deal structures.
    • Perform variance analysis and prepare detailed business cases for senior management
  • Financial Governance & Executive Reporting
    • Develop corporate financial policies in coordination with the Distribution Finance Group.

What You Will Need:

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
  • At least 5 years of progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance, investment evaluation, or business finance
  • Proven ability to independently build and stress-test advanced financial models (such as DCF, NPV, and IRR)
  • Strong experience in budgeting, financial forecasting, variance analysis, and compiling comprehensive corporate business cases
  • Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation is highly preferred.
