Job summary

AboitizPower is hiring a Tax and Compliance Manager who will oversee tax compliance, VAT recovery, and regulatory reporting to support statutory requirements. You will work with multiple departments, ensure accurate financial submissions to BIR, ERC, and DOE, and drive accuracy and integrity in tax processes.

The role requires strong leadership, extensive tax knowledge, and the ability to manage complex compliance programs while contributing to a sustainable energy future for the Philippines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or Bachelor of Laws.
• Minimum five (5) years of related work experience.
• Extensive knowledge in tax compliance and tax planning.
• 3 years of leadership experience.
• CPA is preferred.

As Tax and Compliance Manager, you will be responsible for overall tax compliance and management of the Cleanergy 9 Power Inc. The incumbent is also responsible for the recovery of Input Value-Added Tax (VAT); for the provision of financial reports to other concerned departments for the purpose of statutory and regulatory compliance; as well as managing other complian

cerelated submission for BIR, ERC, DOE (financial portions). The role also involves adhering to company policies, ensuring information asset security, and contributing to a high-performing team through engagement, authenticity, and support for diversity and inclusion and contribute directly to transforming energy for a better world.
