Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Financial Reporting and Tax Lead in the Philippines to oversee timely preparation and review of portfolio-level accounting and tax deliverables, coordinating with offshore/onshore stakeholders and driving process improvements.

The role includes coaching, training, and mentoring team members, ensuring accuracy and adherence to regulatory requirements across multiple cycles and deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a recognized accounting qualification.
• At least 3 years of experience in financial reporting, tax, or audit.
• Experience preparing or reviewing reconciled trial balances and financial statements.
• Understanding of IFRS and core financial reporting principles.
• Experience supporting annual tax return preparation and indirect tax filings.

Responsibilities

• Review reconciled trial balances, financial statements, and supporting workpapers to ensure completeness and accuracy.
• Support preparers by providing guidance on processes and deliverable requirements.
• Perform quality checks on deliverables including financial statements and tax calculations.
• Manage deliverable timelines across daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual cycles.
• Coordinate with regional stakeholders to resolve dependencies and clarify issues.
