Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. in Manila seeks a Fund Accounting Manager to lead the Fund Controller team overseeing external service providers for pooled vehicles. You’ll ensure operational, financial reporting, and regulatory deliverables meet standards and partner with global stakeholders.

You will identify risks and drive improvements, coordinating governance, reporting, and control evidence across functions and vendors. Strong leadership and regulatory knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• 10 years of relevant experience in investment fund services, including fund accounting, financial reporting, and regulatory reporting/oversight.
• Demonstrated experience overseeing third‑party fund administration and driving quality, timeliness, and issue resolution.
• Strong working knowledge of registered investment companies (mutual funds and ETFs) and pooled/private vehicles.
• Working knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS.
• Familiarity with key US fund regulatory frameworks (e.g., Investment Company Act) and reporting obligations.
• Proven people leadership experience across functions.

Responsibilities

• Lead a Manila-based fund controller team and manage day-to-day oversight activities to ensure timely delivery.
• Execute a risk-based oversight model across fund operational processes including NAV calculation, expenses, and price publication.
• Review and challenge fund administrator outputs; drive issue resolution and control evidence.
• Oversee periodic financial reporting and coordinate internal/external audit activities.
• Review regulatory filings for registered and private investment vehicles and coordinate with stakeholders and vendors.
• Maintain governance over internal platforms and reference databases used for oversight and reporting.
• Monitor publication requirements and escalate as needed.
• Prepare governance materials for fund governing forums.
• Perform vendor oversight and drive service improvements against agreed standards.
• Produce metrics and management reporting on issues, risks, and initiative status.
