Job summary

The Citco Group Limited is seeking a Senior Fund Accounting professional to lead and review complex fund accounting deliverables, ensuring SLAs are met and coordinating with clients and auditors. The role emphasizes supervisory responsibilities and deep expertise in real estate and fund administration.

Hybrid work arrangement with 3 days in-office at Alabang office, experience in IFRS/USGAAP and LP accounting is highly valued. Fluency in English required; CPA in progress is acceptable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master level degree in accounting
• Professional accounting designation is preferred
• Designated accountant or working towards CPA
• Minimum of 4+ years’ experience in accounting for the financial services sector, particularly Real Estate, Asset Management or Fund Administration.
• Supervisory skills with experience in managing and/or leading staff for 2+ years.
• Knowledge of IFRS and / or USGAAP is an added advantage
• Experienced in reviewing general ledger and financial statements.
• Experience in Limited Partnership accounting a plus
• Excellent communication skills and proficiency in English (both verbal and written)
• Liaise with property management companies
• Knowledge of real estate multi-family and commercial real estate accounting
• Advanced level MS Excel and proficient with MS Word, MS PowerPoint
• Knowledge of MRI, Yardi, or Investran a plus
• Amenable to work or to be assigned in our Alabang Office (Filinvest 2 Bldg., Northgate Cyber Zone, Filinvest City, Alabang Muntinlupa City)
• Amenable to working under a Hybrid work arrangement (requiring 3 days of in-office presence per week)
• Amenable to working on shifting schedules (Mid-shift - 1PM onwards)

Responsibilities

• Complete and review of operational deliverables in line with Service Level Agreements with clients.
• Act as central point of contact for clients.
• Assist Operations Manager in allocation of work to staff, work-flow processes and improvements.
• Assist staff with their work as needs arise and prepare more complex deliverables.
• Break resolution for all open items with the clients.
• Ensure client deadlines are met.
• Support the conversion of any new clients and existing migrations.
• Liaise with multiple external parties (auditors, legal counsel, investors).
• Review Quarterly/Monthly reports and working papers, which include Cash and Position, Reconciliations, Expense Accruals, Agree Dividends and Interest Accruals if applicable.
• Review all capital activity pertaining to the funds (Capital Call and Distribution processing).
• Review Limited Partner and General partners/Shareholder Allocation; calculations/schedules - includes review of Admin/Management fees/Waterfall/Clawback calculations
• Trial balances and related working papers.
• Complete financial statements, footnotes and Partner Capital Statements.
