Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Server or in a similar waitstaff role.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tables and orders efficiently.
• Flexible to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greeting guests warmly upon arrival and seating them in accordance with restaurant procedures
• Presenting menus and providing knowledgeable recommendations about food and beverage offerings
• Taking accurate food and drink orders from guests and communicating these clearly to the kitchen and bar staff
• Delivering food and beverages to tables in a timely and professional manner, ensuring presentation standards are met
• Checking in with guests throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns promptly
• Processing payments and handling cash or card transactions accurately
• Clearing and resetting tables between seatings to maintain cleanliness and organisation
• Maintaining knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and dietary requirements to assist guests with informed choices
• Supporting the team during busy service periods and assisting colleagues as needed
• Adhering to health and safety standards and maintaining high standards of personal hygiene
