Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the Front Office (Reception, Concierge, Bell Service, Guest Relations)
  • Manage check-in/check-out, room assignments, reservations, and guest requests
  • Lead, supervise, and motivate Front Office staff
  • Monitor guest satisfaction and address complaints promptly
  • Handle billing, cash transactions, and guest accounts
  • Coordinate with Housekeeping on room status and VIP arrangements
  • Collaborate with Reservations and Sales to maximize occupancy and revenue
  • Conduct briefings, coaching, and performance reviews
  • Prepare and review daily operational reports and shift endorsements
  • Ensure compliance with safety and hotel standards

About the role

We are looking for an experienced and service-oriented Front Office Manager to lead and oversee the daily operations of the Front Office Department. The successful candidate will ensure smooth guest arrivals and departures, maintain high standards of guest service, supervise front office staff, and coordinate closely with other departments to provide an exceptional and seamless guest experience.

Key responsibilities
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Front Office, including Reception, Concierge, Bell Service, and Guest Relations
  • Ensure efficient and professional handling of guest check-in, check-out, room assignments, reservations, and requests
  • Lead, supervise, and motivate Front Office staff to achieve excellent service standards and operational efficiency
  • Monitor guest satisfaction and promptly address complaints, concerns, and special requests
  • Ensure accurate handling of room availability, rates, billing, cash transactions, and guest accounts
  • Coordinate closely with Housekeeping regarding room status, room readiness, maintenance concerns, and VIP arrangements
  • Work with Reservations and Sales teams to maximize room occupancy and revenue opportunities
  • Conduct regular briefings, coaching, training, and performance monitoring of Front Office employees
  • Prepare and review daily operational reports and ensure proper documentation and endorsement between shifts
  • Ensure compliance with safety, security, and hotel operational standards
About you
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Tourism, Business Administration, or a related field
  • At least 3–5 years of experience in Front Office operations, preferably in a hotel or resort environment
  • Proven supervisory or managerial experience in a Front Office or Guest Services position
  • Strong knowledge of hotel front office operations, reservations, room management, and guest relations
  • Familiarity with hotel property management systems (PMS) and other hotel-related software
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong customer service and problem-solving skills
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities
  • Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced hotel/resort environment
  • Strong command of written and spoken English
